Looking for a fun and original teambuilding activity for your group or business? This might be it! Our Culinary City Game in Valencia combines teamwork with sightseeing and local gastronomy. A great way to connect with your colleagues, friends or family while exploring Valencia old town enjoying typical local food & drinks! And the best part, it’s mostly GPS based!
Let’s go! At our designated meeting point you’ll receive the briefing from our guide and game host. To get you started, our guide will make teams, install the application for the city game on your phones, explain all the rules in the briefing and last but not least, tie your Valencian scarfes!
From here, each team is free to explore all the pins on the map during the next 3 hours. This is where the teamwork and creativity comes in! The blue pins are optional and are a fun way to explore and learn more about Valencia old town, apart from earning points of course. The orange pins on the other hand are gastronomic stops where you’ll get to taste a local drink or tapa and learn more about local customs, don’t miss these!
One of the five orange pins will lead you to one of the most emblematic buildings in Valencia, the Central Market. Our guide and game host will be waiting for you at the main entrance. Before you can enter, with a clue from the guide, you need to give the password in order to get in. Once inside our guide will take you to different market stalls to taste local ham and cheese with some wine and of course, to grab an ‘almuerzo’ (brunch), a freshly prepared sandwich with Spanish tortilla!
Throughout the game you’ll discover Valencia old town with all your senses. You’ll see historical buildings and local street art, enjoy typical food and drinks from this vibrant city, connect with locals at small shops and bars and last but not least, make unforgettable pictures and fun memories together!
After the time is up, we’ll all meet at the final location for a finishing drink and of course, the award ceremony to see which team earned most points! Now it’s celebration time and we’ll toast with a local cava at a beautiful, hidden location unveiled at the end of the experience!
